The Beginning...
In the beginning... There were four clans; those clans were
Thunder Clan, the cunning and strong clan of the forest, held the truth, love of the forest, and the leadership that made them the envy of the clans.
ShadowClan... the outsiders of the clans; they were the mysterious, the shady ones. They were the brutes of the clans. all large cats, using their strength in bloody battles against opponents and often emerging victorious.
River Clan - They were the water cats, often seen swimming about. they were quicker in the water than the other clans, and they were also the best at catching fish. they knew the rivers like the back of their paw..
and lastly..
Wind Clan.. These felines ran the moors, their legs built like tanks against the rest. They were quick, thin, and agile bodies that kept up with even the quickest rabbit in the land. They were the sneaky felines and also more tempered due to dealing with rogues who often ended in fights or bloodshed.
Everything started with one vision... one word... one... cat.
That cat was named Ribbit'Leap. She was from ShadowClan, she was their medicine cat, and had been the one to receive the vision first. That was... too many moons ago now to remember, though.
The day was cold. Snow covered the ground as the cats huddled together to keep warm. Ribbit'Leap was teaching her apprentice about the different herbs and what they could do, as well as showing them where to find them in this cold weather. Ribbit'Leap looked around, noticing something different with the territory. She looked toward her apprentice and hummed, "What did you notice... odd? It doesn't feel right." She looked at the young feline with worry. she shrugged it off before they kept going.
that night, during her sleep, a rigid vision came to her... all she could see was fire... and running... and this weird mountain where a group of cats would be... she didn't understand a single thing during this... she decided that during the next medicine cat gathering, she would bring it up. and that she did. During the next full moon, she spoke last. explaining her vision to the others, they were all confused because she was the only one... they normally had at least two with a similar vision.
Ribbit'Leap looked around as she walked into the cavern, holding the moonstone they all loved and cared for. there, she met up with HavensHeart, WhispersWonders, and JackelSight. Each feline held the same love for their clan as she did. HavensHeart was a sweet she from ThunderClan. She was the youngest and smallest medicine cat ever seen in their clan. She had given her life for the safety of her clan in a rogue attack moons ago, though during that, her mentor had died. WhisperingWonders was the Windclan medicine cat. He was a sweet feline and had seen many leaders within his time in the clan. He was the reason they had overcome such issues during the small green cough that spread through his clan. he was also the reason his clan had avoided a fight with a band named the Gravediggers. JackelSight was RiverClans' medicine cat. She was timid but outgoing during the meetings. She was a medium-sized cat among the four, though she was the second-oldest within the group. she was also the only one at the time to have an apprentice. Her apprentice was named MarigoldPaw. She was a sweet feline and seemed excited, which made RibbitLeap scared, as she didn't know what her vision would bring for the clan and their new cats, especially the kits and newly appointed apprentices.
The meeting started out like any other meeting they would have. They talked about everything they had done and what had been happening.
"We over in RiverClan have had some issues with the water's contamination from the two legs, but the fish haven't been tainted yet. So we are doing just fine with food this time around. We are willing to give up some food to help you guys, as snowfall is coming, and it seems it will be harsh this winter. We don't want to lose anyone in this snowfall. That's all from me. How about Windclan?" JackelSight murmured as she shifted on her feet, her gaze flickering over toward WhisperingWonders as she smiled.
WhisperingWonders hummed as he stepped forward with his head held high; his voice boomed over the group. "WindClan has been well. LurkingStar has gone on to their last life defending their clan from a rogue. he has also taken a new deputy, as our last had sadly fallen off the cliff's edge into the rushing waters below.. CopperFlare was a good choice on Lurkings' end. She would have been my pick from the start. She is sweet, tempered, and well-mannered when it comes to clan issues." He nodded; her gaze flickered toward the starry sky shown through the hole above, glittering with the stars. "We also have been having issues with a band of rouges called the GraveDiggers. They are causing many issues that cost Lurking his second-to-last life. He is left with one, but he wishes to continue leading... I hope it doesn't lead him to his death soon. Anyway, off to you, HavensHeart."
HavensHeart stepped forward as she looked around. She hummed as she spoke; her voice was soft and sweet. "We have been doing well on prey... Our clan has recovered from the attack, finally, though it was hard looking at HarumFeather... I hope you guys welcome me as a full medicine cat even if I wasn't ready.. I will try my best.. We are building, and our prey has been aplenty thanks to Riverclan. We all thank you." Haven smiled as she looked at JacelSight.
When the meeting was over, the four medicine cats all left for their respective clans. they gave themselves a farewell and went their own ways.
